Liberty Media Corporation Terminates Agreement With France Telecom 
to Acquire N.V. Casema

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Liberty Media Corporation (NYSE: L, LMC.B) announced today that it has terminated its agreement with France Telecom for the acquisition of Dutch cable operator N.V. Casema. Under the terms of the original agreement with France Telecom, each party has had the right since November 1, 2002 to terminate the agreement because the parties were unable to close the transaction by October 31, 2002. Liberty Media and France Telecom have held discussions since the October 31 termination date, however, the parties were unable to come to terms on a new agreement that were acceptable to Liberty Media.
